Pamela Anderson Interviews: Arrive Late For Interview: It can be nerve-wracking starting a new job, especially when you have to cope with difficult guests. But despite getting a little flustered, presenters Jason Manford and Alex Jones maintained their composure as Pamela Anderson arrived late for her interview on The One Show, and walked in front of the camera to sit down. Out of breath and clearly stressed, Anderson rushed over to the sofa and sat down before apologising: 'Sorry, I just got off a plane. I just got here - yeah, it was fine.' And Welsh Jones quickly added to viewers: 'That's how we like to start the show every so often!'

Anderson had arrived in London just hours beforehand to promote her upcoming performance as the Genie of the Lamp in Aladdin. The 45-year-old actress, who is reprising the role in the production at Liverpool Empire Theatre from December 10, said she can't wait to return to the stage. She told Manford and Jones: 'I loved it so much - it was amazing. I get to come down in a hoop, there's pyro - it's everything that I love.

And Anderson said despite the sometimes punishing work schedule of starring in a pantomime, she is looking forward to getting back into it. She added: 'I like schedule. I like to work and it kind of keeps me in line, which is very good because I need that structure.'Despite shooting to fame playing C.J. Parker in television show Baywatch, Anderson said recently she wants to steer clear of on-screen acting.

She said: 'I feel that, at this point in my career, I don't want to do another television show. I don't want to do a film. I'm really enjoying what I do now. 'I have two homes in Malibu, a home in Canada that I'm building, and I just love pouring my heart out into this part of my life. 'Being halfway through my life, I think we start feeling less invincible and we start thinking more about the important things. I've always been involved and now I feel like this is where I should be headed, more so than wearing bikinis.'
