Pamela Anderson Videos: Speak to Oxford: Oxford - Pamela Anderson spoke to about 200 students about the benefits of vegetarianism when she visited Oxford University on October 25. The 43-year-old actress, who is known to many for her role on Baywatch, also introduced the documentary Glass Walls, which is narrated by Sir Paul McCartney, when she addressed the Oxford Union. She spoke on behalf of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and Dan Matthews, of PETA, appeared with her.
After her talk she spent half-an-hour answering students’ questions, then signed autographs and posed for photos. When talking about being vegetarian she said. “It’s the best way that you can make a difference. It’s good for the environment. It’s good for your health.”She added that the ethical reasons are the most important consideration.
“She sounded committed to what she believed in,” the Oxford Mail quoted Omar Asfar, a 19-year-old Regent’s College student, as saying. “She was looking well and afterwards she was very happy to sign leaflets and pose for photos.”Anderson said she is also involved with Waves for Water, an organization designed to bring clean water to places such as Haiti and Pakistan.
